Chinese vice premier meets Israeli counterpart

Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong met with Israeli Vice Prime Minister Silvan Shalom on Thursday, pledging to strengthen cooperation in innovation.

Liu said China will promote innovation-driven development to build a well-off society.

Shalom, who is in China for a forum on innovation in Shanghai, expressed willingness to cooperate more with China in science, health and culture. Endi
