Nepal's PM expresses sorrow over loss of lives in Afghanistan

Nepal's Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli has expressed condolence over the loss of lives and massive destruction in Afghanistan due to a devastating earthquake on Monday.

Sending a condolence message to Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, on Monday evening, the Nepali prime minister has said that he is deeply shocked to learn of a powerful earthquake that hit northeastern Afghanistan resulting in loss of precious lives and massive destruction in Afghanistan.

In his message, Oli has said that Nepal government is remaining stand by the government and people of Afghanistan at this time of great difficulty.

At least 80 people were killed and over 500 others injured when a powerful 7.5-magnitude earthquake hit the northern parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan on Monday. Endit
