Chinese companies operating in Germany were confident in Europe's biggest economy and sticking to their investment plans, a survey found on Monday.
Over 50 percent of Chinese companies running business in Germany expected the German economic prospect to be bright, the survey commissioned by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Germany (CHKD) showed.
Two thirds of Chinese companies said they had no plan to adjust their investment in Germany, the rest one third said they planned to increase investment here.
In 2015, the 2,000 Chinese companies in Germany created 28,000 jobs.
According to CHKD, sectors of trade, mechanical engineering and mining attracted the most Chinese capital. Compared with eastern part of the country, western German states were more favored by Chinese investors.
The survey result was released before German Chancellor Angela Merkel starts her eighth visit to China, Germany's biggest trading partner outside Europe, later this month.
In 2014, China became the biggest investing country in Germany with a record number of investment projects. Endit
