Five Vietnamese to play at World Amateur Golfers Championship

Five Vietnamese men will compete at the World Amateur Golfers Championship from Nov. 11 to Dec. 5 in Turkey, with the participation of over 40 countries and regions, a Vietnamese golf organizer said Monday.

The men, namely Do Viet Hung, Luu Xuan Loc, Nguyen Hong Ngan and Nguyen Nhu Nguyen, are top five winners of Vietnam' s TPBank Amateur Golfers Championship which concluded on Oct. 24.

Earlier, the managing board of the World Amateur Golfers Championship signed a partnership agreement to allow Tien Phong Joint Stock Commercial Bank (TPBank) to organize the tournament in Vietnam.

Under the agreement, TPBank will organize Vietnam' s TPBank World Amateur Golfers Championships from 2015 to 2017. Endi
