China-led joint venture to construct 1.2 km 4-lane flyover in Bangladesh

Xinhua, October 26, 2015 Adjust font size:

A Chinese company led joint venture has signed a deal with the Bangladeshi government for construction of the 1.2-km flyover on a highway connecting Dhaka with Sylhet town.

The China Railway 24th Bureau Group Co. Ltd last month won the deal jointly with local Spectra Engineers Limited and Mohiuddin Builders & Engineers Ltd.

Feroz Iqbal, chief Engineer of Bangkadesh's Road and Highways, Wang Wei, representative of the joint venture company, signed the contract in Dhaka.

The four-lane flyover will hopefully ease the traffic movement at the busy intersection. Endit
