Indian stocks close lower

Indian stocks closed lower on Tuesday on anxiety over the outcome of the U.S. Federal Reserve's policy meeting scheduled for tomorrow.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 27,361.96, 108.85 points or 0.40 percent down from previous close of 27,470.81, with a turnover of 447.12 crore rupees (about 68.8 million US dollars). Endit
