Xinhua, October 26, 2015 Adjust font size:

Several shots were fired early Monday at the entrance to the Flawinne military barracks in the Belgian city of Namur, after a man attempted to crash his car to the barracks, local media reported.

According to the news website L'Avenir.net, the man's face was covered with a hood.

He fled the scene after guards fired warning shots, and his abandoned car was later found nearby, according to local media.

L'Avenir said that large police forces were mobilized and several dams have been prepared in Flawinne on the outskirts of Namur, 60 kilometers south-east of Brussels. Endi
