Chinese shares open higher Monday

Chinese stocks opened higher Monday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rising 1.06 percent to open at 3,448.65 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 1.4 percent higher at 11,765.65 points. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 1.25 percent higher at 2,570.13 points. Endi
