Vietnam's October inflation stays flat on year

Vietnam's inflation stayed at 0 percent in October, unchanged from a year earlier, figures of the General Statistics Office showed on Saturday.

However, the consumer price index (CPI), the main gauge of inflation, increased by 0.11 percent on a monthly basis, the statistics agency said on its website.

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said recently the country's inflation this year would be at 2 percent. Enditem
