Emir Suljagic, Deputy Defense Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), on Thursday held talks with visiting Croatian Chief of Joint Staff of Armed Forces General Drago Lovric over bilateral cooperation.

The two discussed cooperation of the armed forces, especially in the area of peace support operations, humanitarian disasters and assistance to civilian structures as well as training.

Lovric promised full support to the process of Euro-Atlantic integration of BiH. Croatia, a NATO member, will continue to expand cooperation with BiH Armed Force, he said.

Suljagic, meanwhile, expressed thanks to Croatian military for its assistance during last year's flooding.

Croatia sent helicopters and vehicles to assist BiH during its worst flooding in some 120 years, with dozens of people killed and large areas submerged underwater. Endit
