Singapore's finance chief assigned to review election

Singapore's Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat will lead the ruling People's Action Party's (PAP) post-mortem committee to review the General Election (GE), PAP Secretary-General Lee Hsien Loong announced on the party's Facebook page on Thursday.
Heng, who was the former Minister for Education before the Sept. 11 polling, will "lead the committee to analyse what happened, and draw lessons for our next campaign", Lee wrote.
The party also decided to bring in many new members and get prepare for the next election.
"The work of preparing for GE2021 has started. The HQ EXCO (Headquarters Executive Committee) will work with MPs (Member of Parliament) and activists on the party's plans and programs. We will partner Singaporeans to deliver on what we have promised, improve people's lives, and fulfil our duty to Singapore," Lee said.
The First Session of the 13th parliament will commence on January 15, 2016, starting with the election of the speaker and the swearing-in of the MPs.
