Xinhua, October 22, 2015 Adjust font size:

As the first runner of the Chinese men's relay team which took historic silver medal in the Beijing worlds in August, Mo Youxue said here Thursday that he cherished the opportunity to attend the first National Youth Games.

Due to the age limit, this tour to Fuzhou will be Mo's first and last time to compete in the games.

"Youth Games come only once in a lifetime, I feel honored and happy to be here," he said.

Besides the main discipline of 100 meters, Mo Youxue, who represents Shenzhen in this campaign, also registered for three other disciplines including the 200 meters and 4x100m relay .

He said: "100m is my priority."

Meanwhile, Mo Youxue admitted he was suffering the "growing pains" after the World Championships due to the spotlight from the outside.

"It does have some impacts, until now I still could not have a systematic training, but to me, the trainning depends on your self-discipline," said Mo. Endi
