Dollar trades in upper 119 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 119 yen range early Thursday in Tokyo, little changed from its levels overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 119.87-88 yen compared with 119.88-98 yen in New York and 119.86-88 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The euro fetched 1.1346-1347 dollars and 136.01-02 yen against 1.1334-1344 dollars and 135.94-136.04 yen in New York and 1.1371-1372 dollars and 136.30-34 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon. Endit
