Italian cyclist Andrea Palini won the second stage of 2015 Tour of Hainan on Wednesday with a flawless riding from Wanning to Wenchang, covering a total distance of 188.3 kilometers.

Palini of Skydive Dubai Pro team earned the photo finish of the second stage in four hours 32 minutes and 22 seconds, and kept the yellow jersey.

Palini also maintained the green jersey that represents the best sprinter, while Ruslan Tleubayev from Astana Pro Team took the blue jersey representing the best Asian rider.

Palini said, "Luck was on my side at the first stage, but in the second I beat the strongest sprinter in the Lampre-Merida team. The victory was well deserved."

"That means a lot to us, and I believe my team will keep the yellow jersey in the following races," Palini said.

This year's Tour of Hainan lasts nine days, and the next stage will be from Wenchang to Haikou, the capital city of Hainan, covering 130.7 kilometers. Endi
