Myanmar's first-ever sports university under construction in Nay Pyi Taw

Myanmar's first-ever sports university in Nay Pyi Taw has been under construction since 2014, completing more than 80 percent of overall, sports circle said Wednesday.

Aimed at nurturing outstanding athletes in the country, the university covering an area of 36.33 hectares is expected to be implemented by March 2016.

The building at a cost of 3.7 million U.S.dollars is planned to open in 2016-17 academic year.
