Over 20 school children attacked by wasps in Sri Lanka

At least 26 people were injured, including 21 school children when they were attacked by wasps in Ella, in the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka on Tuesday, the police said.

An official from the police media unit told Xinhua that out of the total school children injured, 13 were male and 8 were female. They had arrived in the area on a school visit.

Four men and one woman were also injured in the attack and they were all rushed to nearby hospitals.

Four students are said to be in a serious condition following the attack. Endi
