Hollande to visit South Korea next month to boost ties

French President Francois Hollande will fly to South Korea next month in a bid to strengthen bilateral cooperation and promote diplomatic links, his office said Monday.

At the invitation of his South Korean counterpart Park Geun-hye, Hollande will pay a state visit to Seoul on Nov. 4 as part of France-Korea Year 2015-2016, which marks the 130th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations.

Both leaders are due to announce new projects to bolster political, economic scientific and cultural cooperation during the visit expected to give impetus to the bilateral partnership. Endit
