CPC leader to visit DPRK

Liu Yunshan, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, will head a delegation to visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) from Oct. 9.

The CPC delegation led by Liu, also member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, is invited by the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), the International Department of the CPC Central Committee announced here on Sunday.

The delegation will attend activities marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the WPK as well as pay an official friendly visit to the DPRK, the CPC department said. Endi
