Ryanair to launch new connections from Bratislava to Brussels, Manchester

Xinhua, October 1, 2015 Adjust font size:

Low-cost airline Ryanair is adding more air connections on route from Bratislava to Brussels and new connections to Manchester in next year's flight schedule, the airline's representatives announced on Wednesday.

Ryanair flights will go Bratislava-Brussels six times a week.

"It's also in light of the fact that Slovakia is to hold the EU presidency in the second half of 2016," explained Ryanair operations manager Mick Hickey, who says the connection to Manchester three times a week is to replace the current connection to Liverpool.

As well, Ryanair announced the Bratislava-Berlin line in March this year and it is scheduled to launch on Oct. 27 and will fly return every day of the week.

In total, next year there will be 78 departures to 18 destinations a week, and the estimated number of passengers is 1.2 million a year. Endit
