The Chinese delegation led by their chairman Lu Jinquing acknowledged the potential presented by Kenya and agreed to invest in this economy and also visit as tourists and for charity.
Lu announced the donation of 23 libraries to the 23 school built by China African Hope project in Africa including Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi and Namibia.
Earlier, Musyoka wooed the Chinese investors to come to Kenya and invest their resources in the country. "When it comes to the growth of this country's economy, it goes beyond the party affiliations," Musyoka said.
He said Kenya is the gateway to East African market and thus investing in this economy presents a highest chance of penetrating into Uganda, Tanzania and Burundi among other East African Countries.
Musyoka said the moment for Africa is now, adding that China has stood with the African continent and Kenya in particular at the times of need.
"When the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) offices where at the verge of relocation from Kenya, China supports our lobby to retain the offices in Kenya, this shows how our friendship with the People's Republic of China has strengthened," Musyoka said.
He also asked the Chinese populace to visit this country as tourist, adding that Kenya requires only 0.01 percent of China's population to restore the strangling tourism sector. Enditem
