Xinhua, September 30, 2015 Adjust font size:

Syrian airstrikes against rebel-held areas in country's central province of Homs killed 15 people on Wednesday, a monitor group reported.

Women and children were among those killed by the strikes that targeted rebel-held areas in the countryside of Homs, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Meanwhile, the pro-government Sham FM radio said the Syrian airstrikes targeted positions of militant groups in Homs countryside.

It added that the rebels fired two improvised rockets on government-controlled districts of Homs, spelling no further details.

Separately, in central province of Hama, rebels fired several rockets on the town of Mhardeh, injuring many people, the radio added. Endit
