Xinhua, September 28, 2015 Adjust font size:

Darmstadt's Aytac Sulu upset Dortmund with the late two all draw while Berlin and Frankfurt share the spoils to complete the 7th round in Bundesliga on Sunday.

Second placed Dortmund dropped points again after suffering their second draw in row. The "BVB" bounced back from a 1-0 deficit but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's brace wasn't enough to secure the sixth win of the season, as Damstadt's Aytac Sulu marked the last grasp 2-2 equalizer.

It was all Dortmund in the first half but the Bundesliga newcomers Darmstadt flabbergasted the hosts with the opener against the run of the game with 17 minutes played. The "Lilien" made use of a turnover deep in their territory as Konstantin Rausch initiated the counter via Jerome Gondorf whose pinpoint cross allowed Marcel Heller to volley home the opener from inside the box.

Dortmund pressed for the equalizer but Darmstadt's well-positioned defence gave Thomas Tuchel's men a hard time. However, the "BVB" piled on the pressure after the restart and levelled the scores through Aubameyang, who poked home Matthias Ginter's square pass at the 63rd minute.

The hosts gained momentum and grabbed the lead for the first time thanks to Aubameyang. The Gabon international slotted home a through ball from eleven meters to wrap up his brace and the 9th goal of the season eight minutes later.

Nevertheless, Aubameyang's goal wasn't the last goal of the match as newly promoted Darmstadt had an ace in the hole with Aytac Sulu, who capitalized on a rebound following a set-piece to mark the 2-2 equalizer from eleven meters into the bottom left.

Despite the second consecutive draw, Dortmund remain on the second place with a four-point gap to front-runners Bayern Munich. Meanwhile newly promoted Darmstadt stay on the 9th place of the standings.

Elsewhere, Berlin clinched a late 1-1 draw at Frankfurt thanks to the equalizer by Vladimir Darida, who cancelled out Alexander Meier's early strike.

With the result, Frankfurt remain winless in the last three games to remain on the 11th place while Berlin stay on the 9th position. Endit
