Xinhua, September 27, 2015 Adjust font size:

Police have arrested seven persons on charge of involvement in terrorist activities in the western Herat province over the past couple of days, provincial police chief Abdul Majid Rozi said Sunday.

"Our police during routine checking of cars have arrested seven terrorists and discovered armed and ammunitions from their possessions," Rozi told reporters here.

The arrested persons have confessed to their involvement in terrorist activities, the official said, adding an investigation is underway to identify and arrest those who have linked with the terrorist networks in the western region. Endi
