LME base metals mostly decline on Friday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower mostly on Friday, as the Federal Reserve signaled rate hike.
In Thursday's speech after the closing bell at the University of Massachusetts, U.S. Federal Chair Janet Yellen said that she anticipated a rate hike in the coming months, easing concerns about slowing global growth.
Besides, new orders for U.S. manufactured durable goods in August decreased 4.8 billion U.S. dollars or 2.0 percent to 236.3 billion dollars, the U.S. Census Bureau announced Thursday.
The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 27.5 dollars, or 0.54 percent, to 5,045 dollars per tonne.
The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 4.5 dollars, or 0.29 percent, to 1,573 dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial lead price lost 19 dollars, or 1.12 percent, to 1,681 dollars a tonne.
Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 38 dollars, or 2.26 percent, to 1,644 dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 25 dollars, or 0.25 percent, to 9,912.5 dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial tin price lost 50 dollars, or 0.33 percent, to 15,100 dollars a tonne. Endit
