China extends condolences to Seattle bus crash victims

China on Friday extended condolences to the victims of a school bus crash in Seattle, and expressed sympathy for the bereaved and injured.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei confirmed that one Chinese student died in the accident.

The Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco attaches great importance to the accident and has offered assistance in dealing with the aftermath, said Hong.

A school bus carrying international students collided with a tour vehicle in Seattle Thursday, killing at least four people and injuring dozens of others. Endi
