China is ready to integrate the Belt and Road Initiative with development strategies of Eurasian countries, a state councilor said on Thursday.

In his address to the 2015 Euro-Asia Economic Forum in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province, State Councilor Wang Yong said Eurasia is the core area of the Belt and Road.

The initiative is an opportunity for the construction of a community of shared destiny, said Wang.

He made four suggestions, including building trust and respecting each other's core interest.

Wang also called for better infrastructure and cooperation on education, science and technology, tourism, medicine and youth exchanges.
