LME base metals mostly rise on Wednesday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher mostly on Wednesday.

The euro to U.S. dollar exchange rate rose 0.46 percent to 1.117 later in Wednesday's session, lifting most base metals prices.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 30 U.S. dollars, or 0.59 percent, to 5,092.5 dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 3.5 dollars, or 0.22 percent, to 1,583 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 21 dollars, or 1.25 percent, to 1,695 dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 37 dollars, or 2.27 percent, to 1,670 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 150 dollars, or 1.55 percent, to 9,812.5 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 225 dollars, or 1.52 percent, to 15,025 dollars a tonne. Endit
