French stock market index up 0.10 pct on Wednesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 rebounded slightly by 0.10 percent to close at 4,432.83 points on Wednesday, up 4.32 points.

After good economic indicators from Europe and the resignation of Volkswagen's CEO, the CAC 40 of Paris rebounded slightly on Wednesday with 19 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance, while Air Liquide stayed the same as the previous trading day.

The top three gainers on Wednesday were Total, up 2.18 percent, Unibail-Rodamco, up 1.79 percent, and Alcatel-Lucent, up 1.75 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Wednesday were ArcelorMittal, down 3.53 percent, Credit Agricole, down 2.61 percent, and Peugeot, down 2.56 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 plummeted by 3.42 percent to close at 4,428.51 points, down 156.99 points. Enditem
