China stocks close higher Tuesday

Chinese shares closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.92 percent to end at 3,185.62 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.61 percent to close at 10,238.69 points. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, edged down 0.02 percent to close at 2,078.72 points. Endi
