Albania, Czech Republic sign cooperation memorandum on vocational education

Xinhua, September 22, 2015 Adjust font size:

Albanian minister of social welfare and youth, Blendi Klosi, on Monday signed a memorandum of cooperation with his Czech counterpart Michaela Marksova-Tominova to expand bilateral cooperation and begin an assistance program in the field of vocational education and training.

The Czech Republic will assist Albania in its efforts to improve and modernize the vocational education system, according to Albanian Telegraphic Agency.

Albania and Czech Republic will also sign a bilateral agreement in Prague on mutual recognition of the social and health insurance contributions and labor pension rights of both countries' citizens.

The agreement on pension rights will enable Albanian and Czech nationals who have worked in both countries to receive social protection regardless of the country they live in, or will live in, in the future. Endit
