Thailand wins 2015 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship

Thailand's Bangkok Glass defeated Japan's Hisamitsu Seiyaku Springs 3-2 (25-22, 20-25, 23-25, 25-22, 15-12) to win the 2015 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship in northern Vietnam's Ha Nam province on Sunday.

Winning the final against Japanese rivals, Thai players also earned the only ticket to compete in the 2016 FIVB's Volleyball Women's Club World Championship, which is slated for October 2016.

Also on Sunday, China's Zhejiang beat Chinese Taipei's Taiwan Power 3-0 to finish third.

The annual continental tournament, kicked off on Sept. 12 in Ha Nam, featured nine teams from China, Chinese Taipei, DPR Korea, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Endi
