Three suicide bomb attacks launched by Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram killed five on Sunday in Cameroon.
According to a senior military official, the attacks happened at around 8am Sunday, in the town of Mora, 65 km north of Maroua, the headquarters of the Far-North Region of Cameroon.
The official said those who were killed include two civilians, two young female suicide bombers and a police officer who was trying to prevent the bombers from entering the town, while 29 other people nearby were wounded.
Boko Haram has repeatedly used young suicide bombers to cross the western Cameroonian border with Nigeria in the Far-North Region to launch attacks, killing many people, mostly unarmed civilians. Endite
