LME base metals prices rise on Wednesday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) moved higher on Wednesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price was up 60 U.S. dollars, or 1.13 percent, to 5,387.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.

In other metals, the three-month unofficial aluminium price was up 14.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.90 percent, to 1,625 U.S. dollars a tonne. The three-month unofficial lead price was up 34 U.S. dollars, or 2.02 percent, to 1,720 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Meanwhile, the three-month unofficial zinc price was up 15 U.S. dollars, or 0.87 percent, to 1,746 U.S. dollars a tonne. The three-month unofficial nickel price was up 165 U.S. dollars, or 1.65 percent, to 10,155 U.S. dollars a tonne. The three-month unofficial tin price was up 100 U.S. dollars, or 0.64 percent, to 15,650 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
