China stocks rally on Wednesday

Chinese shares rose sharply on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 4.89 percent to end at 3,152.26 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 6.45 percent to close at 9,890.43 points. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, climbed 7.16 percent to close at 1,926.25 points. Endi
