SKA lose at home to arch-rivals Dynamo in Russian Hockey League

St. Petersburg's beloved ice hockey team, SKA, endured a tough night in front of their home fans in Russia's northern capital Tuesday evening, going down 4-2 to Moscow nemeses Dynamo is a hard-fought, bruising encounter as the Kontinental Hockey League entered the third week of the new 2015-16 season.

The loss leaves SKA in a disappointing ninth place in the league's Western Conference, with 13 points from their first nine games.

Dynamo, meanwhile, have climbed to fourth on the Western Conference ladder, with 15 points from eight games.

The Kontinental Hockey League is an international ice hockey competition dominated by Russian teams but also involving clubs from Croatia, Slovakia, Latvia, Belarus, Finland and Kazakhstan. Endit
