LME base metals prices slide on Monday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) drifted lower on Monday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 43 U.S. dollars, or 0.80 percent, to 5,306 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 9.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.58 percent, to 1,626 U.S. dollars a tonne. The three-month unofficial lead price lost 31 U.S. dollars, or 1.82 percent, to 1,671 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Meanwhile, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 43 U.S. dollars, or 2.38 percent, to 1,762 U.S. dollars a tonne. The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 280 U.S. dollars, or 2.73 percent, to 9,960 U.S. dollars a tonne. The three-month unofficial tin price was up 75 U.S. dollars, or 0.48 percent, to 15,550 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
