French stock market index down 1.04 pct on Friday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 dropped by 1.04 percent to close at 4,548.72 points on Friday, down 47.81 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed lower on Friday with 39 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease, while only Peugeot gained advance, by 0.10 percent.

The three companies whose stock dropped most on Friday were Technip, down 4.48 percent, Orange, down 3.23 percent, and Bouygues, down 3.11 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped by 1.46 percent to close at 4,596.53 points, down 68.06 points. Endite
