Burundi's army chief of staff escapes death

Burundian Army Chief of Staff Major General Prime Niyongabo narrowly escaped death on Friday morning in a gunmen's ambush in the capital Bujumbura.

Witnesses told Xinhua that the gunmen shot General Niyongabo's car near Muha bridge in Kinindo neighborhood at about 6:40 a.m. local time. Endit
