Brazilian midfielder joins Al-Qadisiyah

Brazilian midfielder Jhon Cley has signed a four-year contract with Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Qadisiyah.

The 21-year-old joined the club for an undisclosed fee from Brazilian Serie A side Vasco da Gama, according to Brazil's Globoesporte portal.

He said he felt obliged to repay the faith shown in him by the Khobar-based club.

"This is a good opportunity for my career and I hope to match the expectations," Jhon said. "I will continue to always support my friends at Vasco. Despite the distance, I won't forget them."

Jhon made 65 appearances for Vasco da Gama after debuting for the club in 2012. In 2013 he was capped by Brazil's under-20 team. Endi
