Senior Chinese official meets UK delegation

Senior Chinese official Meng Jianzhu met with a delegation of the British 48 Group Club here on Monday.

Meng, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), said he was appreciative of the club's contribution to China-UK relations over the past decades. He expressed hope that the club would continue to play a positive role as the two countries improve cooperation in various areas.

Stephen Perry, chairman of the 48 Group Club, pledged to continue working for the friendship between the two nations. Endi
