(Sports)Myanmar to select U-16 players after trial matches

Myanmar Football Federation will launch U-16 players selections after trial matches, sports circle said on Saturday.

The Federation will release the finalists of the U-16 team following the round of matches against local and national football clubs as part of the lead-up to the 2016 AFC qualifiers.

Myanmar team is pooled in Group J of the qualifiers along with Australia, Vietnam and Guam.

Myanmar will play against host country Vietnam on Sept. 16, Australia on Sept. 18 and Guam on Sept. 20.

Meanwhile, Myanmar took second place in the AFF U16 Championship last year after being defeated by Thailand in the final. Endi
