Tokyo stocks fall 1.13 pct. amid caution ahead of U.S. jobs data

Tokyo stocks fell 1.13 percent in the morning session of Friday amid a sense of caution ahead of crucial U.S. labor market data.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was down 205.62 points, from Thursday to end the morning at 17,976.77. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange lost 17.97 points, or 1.22 percent, at 1,457.01.

Decliners were led by air transport, electric machinery and glass and ceramics issues. Endi
