Mexico to face a weakened Argentina in friendly

Mexico will face a weakened Argentina in a friendly match on Sept. 8 in the United States.

According to local sports daily Record, the Argentine squad will be without six key players due to injury for next week's fixture. They are Gonzalo Huguain, Pablo Zabaleta, Lucas Biglia, Angel di Maria, Javier Pastore and Ezequiel Garay.

The most recent case is Higuain, who plys trade for Italy's Napoli, has gastrointestinal problems. Zabaleta, defender in England's Manchester City, has an injury in the knee ligament and need a month to recover.

Biglia, midfielder in Italy's Lazio, has a muscle tear and needs to rest between 30 and 45 days. Pastore also has a muscle injury in the right leg.

Paris Saint Germain asked the Argentine Football Association not to call Angel di Maria so he can train with the club and recover his physical condition.

Nevertheless, Argentina will have the talent of Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez, Javier Mascherano and others. Endi
