Xinhua, September 3, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will increase its loan commitment to Indonesia by 40 percent to 2. 2 billion U.S. dollars next year to support infrastructure development in the Southeast Asian country, a top official of the lender said here on Thursday.

"Indonesia certainly needs much more financing for bigger-scale development," ADB Vice President Bambang Susantono said after meeting Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla at the vice presidential office.

The Indonesian government is stepping up construction of infrastructure projects in the country to help spur economic growth. Endi
