Chinese vice premier meets Russian Deputy Prime Minister

Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong met with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets on Wednesday as they attended Chinese-Russian youth symphony orchestra in Beijing.

Liu said the concert, organized to commemorate the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War, is of special significance and one of the highlights of the China-Russia Youth Friendly Exchange Year.

Liu expressed her hope that the young people of the two countries can memorize the history, pay tribute to the martyrs, cherish peace and open up to the future.

Liu and Golodets also attend the opening ceremony of a new Russia research center at Renmin University of China. Endit
