An honor guard of 76 servicemen from Russia will take part in Thursday's military parade in Beijing to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression that ended World War II.

At the parade, the silent drill company, a unit of the 154th Preobrazhensky Regiment stationed in Moscow, will be divided into three platoons representing the army, air force and navy, said the press service of the Russian Defence Ministry. They will participate in the closing part of the parade.

The Russian honor guard has completed preparations for the event after several rehearsals in Beijing.

The unit has a lot of experience in participating in major events both inside Russia and abroad. Endi
