U.S. F-22 fighter planes land in Poland

On Monday, two fighter planes F-22 Raptors landed in Poland near Lodz. The fighter planes will take part in military exercises of Polish air forces.
According to polish media, the military exercises, whose time frame has not been revealed yet, are aimed to improve the cooperation between the U.S. and European air forces. During the drills, the F-22 Raptors will work along the Eurofighters.
The F-22 Raptors came to Poland from German airbase along with 370 soldiers of the U.S. Rotation Detachment.
General Christopher J. Bence, Vice Commander, 3rd Air Force and 17th Expeditionary Air Force, said that "we will conduct the drills along with our European allies to prove, how the fifth generation of fighter planes work. We hope that in the future we will also bring to Europe F-35."
The F-22 is a single-seat, twin-engine and weather stealth tactical fighter aircraft. It is now considered the fastest and the most advanced fighter plane in the world. It can attack land targets and conduct radio emitter direction finding. Endit
