India vows to become modern, credible aerospace power

Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha Saturday said the armed force is determined to become a modern, flexible and credible aerospace power.

"The mission of the Indian Air Force is to build a modern, flexible and credible aerospace power, with full spectrum capability to safeguard nation's interest," he said in southern city of Bengaluru.

The Air Force chief, who was delivering a lecture at the Institute of Aeronautical Medicines, also said field trials on various counter measures are underway to detect and combat fatigue. Endi
