History congress closes in east China

The 22nd International Congress of Historical Sciences (ICHS) closed in Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province, on Saturday.

The next edition of this gathering for historians will be in the Polish city of Poznan in 2020. Italian Andrea Giardina was elected chairman of the congress and French professor Catherine Horel will be secretary general.

More than 2,600 historians from over 90 countries and regions participated in the 22nd congress. Endi
