Australians in remote areas shouldn 't hold their breath for the government to subsidize the cost of high quality, fresh food, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said on Friday, instead encouraging a return to subsistence farming.

The prime minister finished a week-long tour of the Torres Strait and northern Queensland on Friday, a commitment he made -- to spend one week per year visiting isolated and remote Australian communities -- prior to his 2013 election win.(Australia-Remote areas)

MANILA -- Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino III and Thailand Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said on Friday that the two sides are to further strengthen bilateral relations.

SRINAGAR -- At least 10 civilians were killed and over 50 others wounded Friday on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) along Kashmir in deadly skirmishes between troops of India and Pakistan, officials said.

While three civilians were killed and 12 wounded in R.S. Pura Sector of Indian-controlled Kashmir, seven civilians were killed and 40 others wounded at Sialkot in Charwah sector of Pakistan.( Kashmir-Clash)
